Cassanelli says she will continue to support county

Sandi Cassanelli says that she will continue to help and support the county despite no longer holding a position as a county commissioner.

According to Cassanelli, she feels strongly about supporting miners in the county and that she wants to continue to lobby for support of public access television broadcasting of local government meetings. “That’s been my passion. To get the county to realize so much more can be done with our public access channels than what we currently have. In fact, what we currently have is illegal because we have a contract. The contract we have with Charter is supposed to be for the non-profit airings of programming and RVTV is doing that,” Cassanelli said. She says that she wants local politics to remain as transparent as possible for the public and continued support of political coverage is necessary.
